Member Convention (Declaration)

I. Common Mission

We are committed to:

• Promoting the culture of Yunnan folk handicrafts;


• Supporting craft inheritors and artisan communities;


• Facilitating the entry of works into broader markets;


• Showcasing Yunnan’s crafts to the world in an authentic and traceable manner.

II. Mutual Benefit and Shared Display System

The Association uniformly adopts a display system including membership certificates, authentication certificates, and traceability QR codes for works.

(I) Display of Membership Certificate is Mandatory

1. All members must prominently, properly, and permanently display the Membership Certificate and authentication certificates issued by the Association in their business premises, studios, exhibition spaces, stalls, or other visible locations.


2. The display must ensure customers can see it immediately, without obstruction, damage, or improper placement.


3. Displaying the certificates not only promotes all members collectively but also serves as an important gateway to attracting customers.

(II) Association’s Regular Inspections

1. The Association will periodically assign personnel to conduct on-site inspections (including random checks) at members’ premises.


2. Inspections will include verifying whether certificates are correctly displayed, QR codes are properly placed, etc.

(III) Handling of Non-Compliance

1. First violation: Written reminder with a deadline for correction.


2. Second violation: Suspension of platform display and promotion (delisting) until corrections are made.


3. Repeated non-compliance: Membership may be revoked.

III. Code of Conduct for Members

1. Foster unity and mutual support; refrain from undermining, attacking, or defaming others.


2. Proactively display membership certificates, authentication certificates, and traceability QR codes.


3. Support Association activities and uphold its image.


4. Do not engage in illegal or non-compliant activities in the name of the Association.


5. Promote innovation in craftsmanship and set positive examples for the industry.

IV. Association Support for Members

• Membership certificates and brand endorsement;


• Authentication and traceability certification for works;


• Provision of various physical certificates for members;


• Opportunities for exhibitions, training, events, and awards;


• Artist promotion, study s, and media exposure;


• Resources for international market collaboration and cross-disciplinary development.

V. Shared Vision

Only when every artisan is seen can Yunnan folk handicrafts reach the world.

This is not just the Association’s platform but the shared home of all artisans.
